Animation around the world

I shall said it has been a long time since i have updated new posts on this lovely blog. So today I shall sum up a bit of what I have learnt from the past few weeks, or i should say months.

Not to be too long-winded, I shall said a bit of what I have learnt about animation. Being an animator, one has to be open-minded and creative. Not only that, to make a good animation, first we have to learn to the fundamental of animating, and most importantly to appreciate other peoples’ work. Through the open door to the outside world, we start to learn about the various kind of animation around the world. Animation is no longer of what we always see on T.V. but has grown to be something more creativity and bizarre in a way that it’s no longer cater to the kids, but more for the adults. For instance, Russian animation is a style of abstract and dark animation that will provoke people to think.

The growth of Japanese animation over the year has shown it’s huge market all over the world. “Spirited Away” even break through to the west by taking away the Best Foreign Film in the Academy.

And somehow, people are influenced or inspired by the animation that they have seen all around the world, and as a result creating a more fun and interesting animation that the audience could have imagined.
